WHAT IS THERMOMETRY? 

 

Thermometry is a radiation free and noninvasive body screening that identifies a wide range of physiological dysfunction by using a temperature sensor to take body temperature measurements across 100 points on the body. HOW DOES THERMOMETRY WORK?

An infrared sensor will be used to measure skin temperature at over 100 points on the body before and after the exposure to room temperature. The autonomic nervous system regulates temperature throughout the body in response to both internal and external stress factors. When we expose the body to a slightly cooler temperature this leads to blood flow away from the skin to the core and head in order to maintain essential organ temperature and oxygenation. Therefore, Thermometry captures the skin temperature changing behavior and identifies how well our autonomic nervous system responds to the cooling stimulus. And the skin temperature on each point of that underlying organ.
